BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – In three days, Alabama has picked up three commitments for the class of 2016, and all three are highly regarded prospects.
The trio have yet to suit up for a game in their junior seasons of high school, but two of the three say they’re solid to Alabama even with the possibility of taking other visits.
Here is the list
* DL Benito Jones of Waynesboro, Miss., committed on Sunday. He’s a four-star recruit just inside the top 100 nationally.
* DB Shyheim Carter of Kentwood, La., committed on Tuesday. He’s the top-rated cornerback by 247Sports in the country. He’s also a four-star recruit.
* ATH Demetris Robertson of Savannah, Ga., also committed on Tuesday. He’s a four-star recruit and the top-rated athlete in the country.
