‘Can I get a Roll Tide?’ Huntsville man donating Alabama t-shirts to soldiers overseas
It started innocently on Facebook and is blossoming into the state’s next fashion fad. “Can I get a Roll Tide?” Slap that question, written in white, on a crimson t-shirt and watch out. That’s what Justin Crisler of Huntsville has discovered. He maintains a popular Facebook site known as “Can I get a Roll Tide?” and, given that more than 20,000 people have “liked” the page, Crisler thought the group needed a t-shirt. But now the whim has turned into a cause. Crisler is now soliciting donations to send the t-shirts to soldiers overseas on a second Facebook page: TideforTroops.
