The Alabama Crimson Tide took on their second SEC Western Division opponent for the 2012 season at Bryant-Denny Stadium by welcoming Ole Miss to the field of play. Alabama stumbled and staggered throughout the night showing moments of glimmering performance and with less than stellar action in between. A lack of consistency seemed to be the theme for the night for Alabama. Ole Miss hung in the game for much of the first half. Alabama put some distance in between them and the Rebels in the second half, ending the game with a modest but satisfactory 33-14 victory.
