The Crimson Tide came into the game against Western Carolina (an FBS opponent) looking to correct the mistakes from the last two weeks and set the tone for the remainder of the season. They did just that by shutting out the Catamounts, 49-0. Even after suffering their first loss of the season in the previous game, Alabama still remains in control of their future in the Western Division of the SEC. With that in mind the Tide look to the Iron Bowl next week at home to clench a spot in the SEC Championship.
