With this win Alabama clenches the SEC West Title and a birth in the SEC Championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. For Auburn this is the first time they have gone without a win in their conference in several decades. This puts Alabama one win away from a chance for back to back National Championships.
