Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron looked to be as poised and determined as ever before against the vaunted Fighting Irish defense. He threw for 264 yards completing 20 of 28 passes including 4 touchdowns and seemed completely comfortable in the pocket throughout the game. This performance sets the stage for what could be a stellar Senior season for the 2 time National Championship winner where he may be a contender for the Heisman as well as a third National Championship given the weapons he will have to work with at receiver.
