AJ McCarron and Barrett Jones at odds in the BCS National Championship

With time winding down in Alabama’s 42-14 National Championship victory over Notre Dame, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron was still highly competitive. As senior center Barrett Jones was calling out assignments and changing protection at the line McCarron became impatient and wanted the ball to be snapped immediately. With the game well in hand, Jones didn’t seem to share in McCarron’s sense of urgency and the two had a bit of an altercation on the field. This is however a minor incident as the two have been long time roommates at the University of Alabama.
