AJ McCarron is returning to Alabama for his Senior season

By Ample Alfred Pachyderm on December 18, 2012 in Football, Video

Alabama’s Junior Quarterback AJ McCarron made it known that he intends to forgo the NFL draft following the conclusion of the 2012 college football season. This means AJ will return for his Senior season at the University of Alabama. McCarron already has one National Championship victory under his belt from the 2011 season (a game in which he was the offensive MVP) and he has captured and SEC Championship as well this year. Alabama will be playing for their second consecutive National Championship against Notre Dame on January 7th, giving McCarron the opportunity to win back-to-back National Championships as Alabama’s starting Quarterback. In addition McCarron leads the Alabama all-time passing.

Crimson Quotations

“You don't really appreciate this until after you're out of school, but it's really true. When you play for Alabama, when you put on that Crimson jersey, you're not just playing for yourself or your teammates. You're playing for everybody who wore that uniform before you and for everybody who'll wear it after you. That's the tradition.”
by Shaun Alexander - Said in Huntsville Times interview.
