Thanks to some shocking losses Saturday night, Alabama has moved up two spots to No. 2 in the new Associated Press poll that was released Sunday morning. Notre Dame also moved up two spots, to No. 1. It received every first-place vote. Notre Dame and Alabama also are ranked 1-2 in the USA Today coaches' poll. Oregon, which had been ranked No. 1, lost to Stanford 17-14 in overtime Saturday and fell to No. 5. Kansas State, which had been ranked No. 2, lost 52-24 at Baylor and fell to No. 7.
