Former University of South Alabama athletics director Joe Gottfried, who is in his first year as a voter on the Harris Interactive College Football Poll, has made a chance at the top of his ballot this week based on the results of a crazy Saturday. Notre Dame now occupies the No. 1 spot on Gottfried's ballot, with Alabama the No. 2 team. He completes his top five team with Oregon at No. 3, Georgia at No. 4 and Florida in the No. 5 position. Gottfried's Top 10 is completed with Florida State at No. 6, followed in order by Stanford, LSU, Texas A&M and Kansas State.
