My new rule of thumb: Whenever I think the national schedule looks like a bunch of dog games, it's time to expect the unexpected. Especially when Joe Tessitore is calling two ESPN games with top-five teams. The guy is college football's Gus Johnson. You have to watch Tessitore, the king of “utter chaos” phrases, because drama will follow. Sometimes he'll even take down an entire state as he did by calling the Oklahoma State and Oklahoma games. Three top-5 teams fell in 24 hours. Down went No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 4 Oregon and No. 5 Oklahoma.
