Sizing up the teams still in BCS Championship Game contention

The latest Bowl Championship Series standings are out, and as expected, there has been quite a shakeup at the top. Kansas State and Oregon have been replaced at the top by Notre Dame and Alabama. It didn't take long for the Crimson Tide to rebound from a Nov. 10 loss to Texas A&M, thanks to help from Baylor and Stanford. Only two weeks remain before the two teams who will meet in the 2013 BCS Championship Game will be determined. It appears to be coming down to a six-team race, though that might be a generous assessment to Kansas State.
