Slive: SEC could play with 13 teams when Texas A&M joins

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – SEC Commissioner Mike Slive sounded confident Monday that Texas A&M will join the conference in 2012 and indicated the SEC could play with 13 teams next season. “When Texas A&M joins our conference, we don't have immediate plans for a 14th member,” Slive said in statements released Monday evening on the SEC web site. “We aren't thinking in terms of numbers.
