The periods of Alabama practice open to the media don't often allow much of a glimpse into the ongoing competition at kicker. It's apparently a three-way battle, as holdovers Jeremy Shelley and Cade Foster are competing with freshman Adam Griffith for the field goal kicking and kickoff jobs. All three had good kicks and bad kicks in Saturday's scrimmage, coach Nick Saban said. Tonight's viewing window was no different. Outside a few random boots through the arena football uprights from Griffith, there wasn't too much kicking happening on the opposite side of the field.
