TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men’s basketball head coach Avery Johnson will be featured in CBS Sports’ “NCAA Men of March,” airing Thursday, Dec. 31.
As Crimson Tide fans prepare to watch the Alabama football team take on Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl later that same night (7 p.m. CST), they can tune into CBS Sports Network at 1 p.m. CST (2 p.m. EST) to watch Johnson on the CBS Sports original series.
The half-hour program will feature an all-access, behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of the Alabama’s head men’s basketball coach. Johnson will be highlighted in interviews, mic’d up for practice and behind-the-scenes footage from the Tide Tipoff event, among other items.
The series showcases successful and influential NCAA basketball coaches from across the country. The half-hour programs allow fans a glimpse into the life of the featured coaches, exhibiting their coaching style and philosophy. The series has highlighted the lives of Rick Pitino, John Calipari and Mike Krzyzewski among others in its two-year stint.
Alabama fans can catch encore presentations of Johnson’s episode on CBS Sports Network at the following dates and times: Jan. 2 at 1:30 a.m. EST (12:30 a.m. CST), Jan. 7 at 1 a.m. EST (midnight CST), and 10:30 a.m. EST (9:30 a.m. CST) on Jan. 8.
