The University of Alabama track and field team won six events and set almost a dozen personal records over the weekend at Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational. The Tide won three throwing events, two jumping events and one relay over the course of the two-day meet. In total, Alabama athletes finished among the top three in 21 of 25 events.
Hunter Webb delivered a walk-off single in the 10th inning to give the No. 30 Alabama baseball team the win over the ninth-ranked Mississippi Rebels, 6-5, Saturday night in a Southeastern Conference tilt at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
