Ten University of Alabama track and field athletes – seven men and three women – have officially been accepted for entry into the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships to be held March 14-15 in Albuquerque, N.M.
The University of Alabama track and field collected a pair of individual conference titles Saturday to bring its total to three for the weekend on the final day of competition at the SEC Indoor Championships at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.
Charodd Richardson won the SEC title in the men’s weight throw and six Crimson Tide athletes advanced to Saturday’s finals, as Alabama concluded its first full day of action at the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
The Alabama track and field team travels to College Station, Texas, for the 2014 SEC Indoor Championships. The championships run Thursday, Feb. 27, through Saturday, March 1. Action starts Thursday with the men’s and women’s multi events.
