TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former Alabama standout Merel van Dongen and the Netherlands National Team will be back in action this evening in the group stage of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The Netherlands will face off with China at 5 p.m. CT on Fox Sports 2.
Netherlands got off to a good start in their FIFA Women’s World Cup debut on Saturday, June 6 in Edmonton, defeating New Zealand by a final score of 1-0 to put themselves in position to potentially reach the round of 16.
