SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Alabama women’s tennis team moved up one spot to No. 17 in the latest Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Women’s Team Rankings, released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
National singles and doubles rankings were not released by the association this week. Those are set to be published again on Tuesday, Feb. 23.

Alabama was scheduled to take on No. 9 Virginia in Charlottesville on Monday, Feb. 15, but the contest was postponed due to travel issues resulting from inclement weather in the Charlottesville area.
The Tide returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 21, welcoming the No. 26 Northwestern Wildcats (1-4) to the UA Tennis Stadium. The match is slated to begin at 11 a.m. CT and will be played outdoors, weather permitting.
